Hi list,
I reported this before last year (or even earlier?) with an earlier version of
konqueror. This was fixed and
now reappeared since kde 3.3.0: When I try to access windows shares via
smb://host/share I am prompted
for the ID and password. When I enter these I get the same dialog again
I have mentioned my problem on the debian-kde mailinglist and
someone pointed me to a kde bug report which is identical to
my description:
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=88484
As an additional information: I do not use IMAP but local folders.

Hi there,
I was brave enough to install KDE 3.3.0 recently but now
have some troubles, most of them are already reported here.
The one that nobody mentioned so far is the following:
If new emails are received they do not show up in the

I added this to the windows ressource settings in kcontrol but
without success. Is it possible in priciple or does the smb io-slave
not support Windows Server2003 yet?

Hello all,
I am not sure if it is worth at all, trying to upgrade to kde 3.1 now,

I tried it anyway and was confronted with a list of 109 packages

I would be glad to hear input from other DD's about this proposal!

there is a bug which causes kmail (2.2.2) to segfault on some systems. One of
