connection is successfully processed. But I can't figure why?
I use
- kdepim/kpilot 4:3.5.5.dfsg.1-1
- udev 0.100-2.3
- hotplug not installed
The syslog with udev_log="debug" is attached. Also kpilot-log.
Any ideas?

Replacing the kdesu binary (3.5.4-2+b1) with an old one from kdebase-bin
3.3.2-1sarge3 solved it on my system.

Just a guess, but

When KLaptop config/Button actions is not set to 'Off', then
~/.xsession-errors gets filled with error messages generated two or
three times a second.
Probably not the cause of the excessive numbers that you are seeing,
though.
