I've just filed a bug report against 2.6 for this same system; 2.6 does
not work on this system, so I have no workaround.

Hi
The one I got was at:
ftp://sources.redhat.com/pub/dm/patches/2.6-unstable/2.6.8.1/2.6.8.1-udm1.tar.bz2
It is classed as unstable, so I don't think it will be put in the
kernel. If you know of any better ones I'd be glad to hear them.
Thanks

Hello,
I updated a woody installation (installed via woody-xfs CD) to sarge.
Everything went good. After all I'd like to install a recent kernel (from
2.4.18-bf2.4-xfs to 2.6.7-1-686).
I did this several times before on different machines - never had a pro
Hi,
[ broken radeonfb ]
I might have not put it clearly: there are in fact two issues.
First, the radeonfb driver fails to determine the display panel size.
Second, due the broken if-clause I mentioned, it doesn't realize that but
assumes an absurd resolution of 8x1 pixels.
While the first _mig

Helo,
Since kernel-image-2.6.5 my Atapi drive isn't detected at boot.
It work perfectly with previous 2.6 (2.6.4).
Sata drives work perfectly as scsci devices (sda & sdb).

Precisely. This is not supposed to happen (for instance, the nv
driver for nVidia cards works just fine regardless of the underlying
framebuffer)

Herbert Xu pointed out that the problem is that growisofs opens the device
read-only, while read-write mode is necessary for some of the ioctls that it
uses. This trivial patch seems to get it working again, though I confess
the code is difficult to follow and I'm not sur
