Version 2.6.24-6 was installed when updating packages
on 2008-04-25. Previously ntp had been working
correctly. After installing version 2.6.24-6, the ntp
poll interval will increase normally from 6 to 7 and
then after a time at 7, it returns

I compiled linux-2.6.23.1.tar.bz2 this one functioned correctly and
prints as expected
I jumped to linux-2.6.24.1.tar.bz2 this one did not print and I let
the job run until a new kernel was compiled. No errors in cups error
log. Printer printed one page with the following at some point:

Updating aboot to 1.0pre20040408-2 fixed the issue on
both my xp1000 and my 164sx.
I believe this bug can be closed unless Kohda-san
still experiences some issues.
thanks,

no errors are logged in /var/log/cups. I print to a network printer via

I'm using a Cisco PCM350 on an IBM T23 laptop for years on Debian Sid.
Up until 2.6.23, this wifi card was working perfectly, but since 2.6.24,
Linux does no longer boot when plugged at power on, and the card is not
working anyway even if plugged sometime after the boot finished.

We believe that the bug you reported is now fixed; the following

ipw3945d | 1.7.22-5 | source, amd64, i386
Note that the package(s) have simply been removed from the tag
database and may (or may not) still be in the pool; this is not a bug.

We can reproduce this bug - or something remarkably similar - in a
running (as opposed to newly booting) system of a different architecture
to the original reporter.
Our kernel is linux-image-2.6.18-6-686 version 2.6.18.dfsg.1-18etch1 and
we get the dmesg output
RTNL: assertion failed at net/ipv4
rethinking i find damm stupid that you link maintainer script
work to upstream work.
anyway another possible scheme would be that i commit all
the variable changes to trunk daily without the actual git
until rc1. unless given a real reason i'll proceed that way.
