Hi all,
I am getting back to you with updated info.
I currently own a Framework AMD 13 laptop running Debian Bookworm.
I've installed the new kernel from unstable.

Hello !
Thank you very much for enabling those two features in the kernel.
Your work is much appreciated !
Maybe I am missing something but I've download the 6.8.9-1 package from
here

I might be seeing the same issue -- at least the high level
behavior Alma describes matches what I am seeing on my desktop
system. I am not using the same keyboard (I am using a Leopold
FC200RT). Sometimes the issue also affects my USB mouse.
I also checked my systemd logs, comparing the good vs

I believe we've finally tracked down the root cause of this issue, and
a set of patches has come across that should resolve it.
I haven't yet tried these latest patches but instead an earlier trial
based upon v6.4-rc4, which worked well.
Two patch sets resolve the issue; I haven't tried just the
This patch, which now seems upstreamed, does not seem to resolve the
IRQ warnings for me. Tried 6.3.5, and 6.4-rc4, and they persist.

I missed the first three lines of the syslog snippet

in and let apt remove it.
I am aware that I could modify initramfs.conf's MODULES value to 'dep' to trim
the image files.
