I found the time to tinker on my computer the past week. I installed 6.1.4-1
and 5.19.11-1 and neither kernel them worked; eventually I came to the
conclusion my hardware is faulty. There's a thread in debian-user about it.

suspect 5.19 may have been the last version I had installed where
bluetooth
