I'm still trying to track this down. I've tried irqpoll and irqfixup,
nomce and combinations of the pci=... arguments nomsi and noacpi, all
with nommconf as well. The order of lines changes, I get timeouts in

I have a bit of a hybrid machine, with some new hardware in it. I have
a DVD attached to IDE, a 250 GB SATA drive attached to SATA1 (boot
device) and a 3Ware card with 4 IDE disks
Doing a lspci -vnn, I see that 00:12.0 is described as a SATA
Controller. There is nothing in the lspci stanza about this device
which indicates that it is a JMicron 360, which is what the manual says
it is.
If I look through the 2.6.20-1-k7 kernel config, the option
CONFIG_PATA_JMICRON is
