think I've seen a second version of the 'rush' packaging from you
since I commented on the version in April, although I could just have
missed it. Yes, I should look at windowlab as well

Debian. See the Debian Policy Manual, section 4.13.
I think ideally you need to ask the upstream author to split out the
common code from xdotool and keynav into a shared library.
