Dear mentors,
I am looking for a sponsor for the new version 20091205-1 of my package
"figtoipe" and the new version 0.21-2 of my package "fig2sxd".
Both updates fix important upstream problems reported by users of the
previous versions:

Oh yes, sorry.

Well, as I am also the upstream maintainer it would be strange to add a
patch. As I cannot upload to the luaforge website, I just did not want
to bother Otfried because

A new package using dpkg-divert instead of "Replaces:" has been uploaded
to mentors.debian.net, and I would be happy if it could be sponsored.
Kind regards,
Alexander

Hi,

Info for debian-devel: we try to figure out how to package figtoipe.
Before version 6.0pre30-1, a version of figtoipe was included in the ipe
package. Since then, figtoipe is a separate upstream package and also
gone from

I submitted one, so I can close #481022 in the changelog.

I do not understand Replaces/Conflicts very well. I believe that all ipe

In which case, you might want to add an In-Reply-To header, pointing
to the message you're answering to, so that the thread won't break.

Salut Vincent,
Sorry, I was not on the debian-mentors list.
figtoipe has also been removed from the upstream ipe package. The reason
is that the code of ipe and figtoipe has no overlap. When I sent patches
to Otfried Cheong (the author of ipe and figtoipe) to add some features
to figtoipe, he dec
