Hi mira
In that case you need to specify that you are reporting in the Debian BTS:
reportbug --bts debian wnpp

You need a Debian sid install to build and test your packages in
before uploading them to Debian, so you could use that to report the
bug.

The bug
About one week ago my mentor uploaded my package libgpiv. As I don't
find it yet on the debian repository, I have been looking if the ITP bug
has been closed. This seems not to be the case, yet.
The ITP bug reports version 0.3.2, but the upstream version (that has
been packaged by me) has

Upstream Author : Matthew Weinstein <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Hello,
Back in 2003 I filed an RFP and then made it an ITP for kmut:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=186180
It never ended up in the Debian archive and I don't need it anymore. Is
it ok to close the bug to help (just a little) cleanup the wnpp bug
list?
Thanks,
Adriaan
