Hello,
Well, we encountered a build problem in advi, which seems to be related
to cameleon's linkage of libpng10 and lablgtk.
I don't remember what the situation is exactly, but i remember that
libpng10 was to be used with lablgtk1, and libpng12 was to be used with
lablgtk2 and that cameleon is

I thus propose the following plan, and an alternative plan below it :
Plan A:
- we rename lablgtk2 to lablgtk, and it becomes our default lablgtk.
- lablgtk2 is linked with libpng12.
- camlimage is built with it.
- we rename current

I think it is best to keep the current naming scheme ie lablgtk,
lablgtk2, camlimages...
I think it is bet to generate camlimages2.
Off course it should be best to move to lablgtk2 - lablgtk... But there
is always people assuming lablgtk is lablgtk...
I second you in this point,

Heu, cameleon (the main trunk) depends on lablgtk1, not lablgtk2.
Yeah, sure, was a typo.
That's what i thought, but this detail was the subject of the discussion,
so I pointed it to be sure ;-)
And it is not done, yet. It is started in a separated branch, named ...

Hi,
I do not really see the point of renaming lablgtk2 to lablgtk.
Other gtk/gnome-based packages are now called *2.
What about this alternative proposal?
1. add a new package camlimages1 linked against lablgtk.
2. make cameleon depend on camlimages1
3. link camlimages to lablgtk2

Hello again all,
Well, since i am in a good mood ( ;-) ), i would like to do a full round
of package injection in the svn.
What i will do :
- inject the .orig.tar.gz
- inject the debian
- tags the current trunk to the version ( for example cameleon will get
a 1.3-2 tags )
- add a watch file

Well, none. Cameleon does not use camlimages.

So cool, we can do :

lablgtk1 - cameleon.
Nice. Sylvain, no need for

What about :
camlimages ( normal )
camlimages-lablgtk ( just contains the part linked with lablgtk )
camlimages-lablgtk2 ( just contains the part linked with lablgtk2 )
camlimages-lablgtk conflicts with camlimages-lablgtk2
During the build you begin to build with lablgtk, then
