Although I have not used it much, OpenOffice 1.1 seems to be working just
fine here on my debian system. One quirky little problem though comes up
when I load an MSWord document. It displays every apostrophe as a question
mark. Any hints?

I've corrected the locale problem, but it still doesn't start.
1st time I run any openoffice program after having removed user's openoffice
config I get the following errors:
