Hi.
I've faced an issue that is against the very idea of OpenDocument being a
standard office format :(.
Just reproduced with a simple test, and placed description with screenshots

Same is happenning with OOo3 packages currently in experimental.
Bad. Especially when pasting from document into shell command line. This
really may cause data loss - when absolutely unexpected ... :(.

Hello.
I've just installed OpenOffice.org 2.0.1-2 packages from sid.
My default locale is ru_RU.KOI8-R. Package with help in russian is not

is started in russian locale.

By the way, some time ago I've created myspell-ru package with russian
myspell dictionary. For anyone interested, it is available from
http://zigzag.lvk.cs.msu.su/debian/sid/myspell-ru_20030821-1_all.deb

I don't know if this should be rep[orted as separate bug or not, but it is
definitly related.
Seems that if Vera font is installed, font selection done by this patch
(either in current-in-package or in-this-bugreport version of it) does
not work.
OOo seems to use Vera font for interface instea

Does that means that the patch about reading KDE font setup I've sent you on
your request got lost? I've got no answer ...
The second version of the patch really works :).
A've got a guess.
Possible reason of tiny-font problem is bad interaction with gconf2.
I normally don't use it, but it is installed here to satisfy some
dependences, and I've seen situation when after gconf daemon is started, I
get HUGE fonts on newly-started KDE apps.
This happens because gcong
Just upgraded OOo to 1.1.0 - interface fonts are still tiny.
For OOo itself it may be workarounded by setting scale in OO settings (btw,
is it possible to do this not for user but system-wide?).
For oopadmin no such workaround seems to exist ...

In debian OOo packages, when user runs OOo for the first time, local setup
is executed automatically.
Is there any hook available to local sysadmin to customize this initial
setup? Possibility to execute shell script will be nice.
