Actually, I have had a lot of trouble building working 2.4 kernels for powerpc. I have a starmax 4000/200 (200 mhz 604e). Of course, I use source that's meant for powerpc. It appears linux for ppc has a ways to go before it's like linux for x86. Does anyone else have so much trouble building work

I use mozilla daily (for browsing only) and have had scattered luck. I find that there are more pages that won't display properly under 0.9 than with 0.8. Also it just ate my bookmarks file. So now I keep backups of my bookmarks. jas.

I've just bought a Titanium and am trying to get Debian going. I've got a PowerBook G3 and want to copy my root partition accross to the new machine via the network. I also have to partition and install yaboot. What is the easiest way to do this ? Will the PowerPC CD image boot the Titani
