Hi,
Sorry I am a bit late in replying...

Hmm, empty nvramrc is not good. Attached is my nvramrc.

Just hoping and or wondering if sleep support for powerbook G4 DVI's
made it into the final 2.4.19 release?

I've got hdc=scsi with benh-rc5, and it works fine, I've got everything
compiled into the kernel though. Why don't you post your kernel config
to a webpage somewhere, and post the link here? That might clear up
some confusion.

Is it being worked on somewhere?

I picked up a PCI 56K modem cheap, slung it inside my beige G3 and
discovered it's a 'winmodem'. The chipset inside is made by Intel --

Hi
I'm running Debian unstable on a new ibook.

I'd be grateful for some pointers.
1) Firewire
I have a Lacie 20Gb external firewire disk. Is it possible to mount
this if is formatted suitably (presumably as HFS) ?

Hi,
First, what key sequence must one use to force a boot from floppy on
an old-world macintosh? (and which of fn/ctrl/alt/"apple")
correspond to "cmd" and "opt"
Second, it would be really nice to have this information in the
installation manual. It could fit in section 5.3 "Booting from
