1. Will debian work fine with this computer?
2. Does apt-get work with mac or do you have to compile all programs
yourself?

since jesterday I am trying to install debian on my powerbook g4 (the
new 1 with 1.33GHz)
so I have download the iso file from debian.org for powerpc and have
burn it, but I just cannot boot from the CD.
I have find some tutorials online where it says I need to copy the

I have tortured google for some days now trying to get my old monitor
here to work as a second screen. I can start it with a correct
XF86Config, but I get weird yellowish look on both screens.
