Debian-www might be a better place for this.
For the past few weeks we have been missing an official Swedish

For Debian, software is everything that is stored or transmitted in
digital form.
I just checked my dictionaries and checked define:software on Google, and
most sources define software along the lines of computing programs designed

Ed White:
This is wrong.
It's just a matter of interpretatin. Either one starts with the Linux
kernel and add the GNU tools, then the wording on our web pages is
correct. This is what the Debian project did. Or you start out with the

Amazing. Faced with a conundrum, you assume that that people saying
so must be dumb, and refuse to investigate further to see where the
fallacy lies.
*sigh* If you accuse me of calling people things, then try to at least
back you claims. I haven't said anyone is dumb, I only

That's because all these people are using it acceptable. But
that doesn't mean that our logo is _free software_. For reference,
please read the debian-legal thread I linked to.
To me the argument falls flat here before it even starts: the logotype
isn't software, and can't

I suggest you review some of the messages recently sent to

I don't read debian-legal, but I've read some of the messages

That sounds like a good idea. However, to make sure that the
