Can we please update distro-info-data to 0.16, for the wheezy release
dates. This seems like a good candidate for stable-updates.
The version currently shipping in wheezy is also missing so

Pardon my ignorance, but "--with-system-libunwind" -- does that packages
built with GCC using C++ exception, are linked against libunwind7 and not
libunwind8, and the package needs to be compiled with libunwind8 present?
i.e. libunwind.so -> libunwind.so.8

It has been practically abandoned for a lot longer than that. The lack
of maintenance of sysklogd is part of the reason rsyslog took over in
Debian, many years ago.
