flawlessly with Sun Java6. Has this been fixed now?
If not, that's one good argument for keeping Sun Java6 around. Some
stuff just won't work without it (in my case, OpenBravo POS[1]).

I understand why you're pissed at asterisk. I am too. But this is
being worked on and some people are putting a lot of energy into
that. In the
o the
asterisk manager, which can be local or remote. So there's no
dependency on asterisk itself whatsoever.
Please put those two packages back into testing.
