om a more distanced view, it would be nice though for other ports in
the future if dak's knowledge about architectures could be decoupled
from "dpkg-version-in-stable", and no other parts were too coupled in
general to versions of packages from stable. The very nature of ports
means that sometimes they need features not present in packages by the
time that they entered stable.

Maybe there are other disadvantages about binNMUs that I am missing,
so asking again in debian-release@ just in case. If it's OK to go
ahead, either Alberto or I would fill in bugs asking for the binNMUs.

In general, that's not a substitute for having several versions in

But maybe Alberto (who follows closely upstream) will have more

OTOH there're many other packages, and much more important than OSG,
still pending to be built against libav9, so I don't think that this
is so urgent though, and also depends on what happens with 3.2.1.
We will discuss it and see what to do.

So I think that the best thing to do is to allow -3 to go in, the only
actual change it's the restriction on architectures (see debdiff
attached), and it was requested before buildd team accepted to remove
it from the P-A-S file:

The game "flare" is based on SDL libraries only and with no
