The issue reported in #781753 is very easy to be fixed.
There is an one-line upstream patch to solve it.
The new version of puf corrects only a weird bug (#411069) on at least
i386 arch when it is compiled with gcc-4.1.
The diff is very small and is attached for your convenience.
