I fixed the update-alternatives issue in SVN. The fakeroot issue is more
serious and still under investigation. mpicc segfaults when called via
fakeroot. I did not see this behaviour b

It's been almost 6 weeks now since my initial request without any reply
besides "please wait". I assume this just got lost/forgotten, but I
