I'm sending all logs to one only host with syslog-ng.
This can give me a lot of information if not filtered, but snort also
makes daily reports and then sends them via mail to root or another user
that i can define.

Nagios is actually Netsaint with just a different name. There are debs
for Netsaint if you feel more comfortable installing it that way. The
only problem is that Netsaint is frozen in its version. Nagios is the
product that will get updated and have all the new features. I

IPSec. You can see them here:

They are around 3Mb in size; being scanned jpegs. It's a fairly good
guide to frees/wan, and should get you started. I haven't tried IPSec

That is there is a new libapache-mod-ssl that depends on libc6 (>=
2.3.1-1) but libc in Stable is at 2.2.5-11.2. 2.3.1-1 is still in
unstable.
