Just for the heck of it, I physically copied the silo.conf
file to /etc instead of just symlinking it:
# mv silo.conf silo.conf.link
# cp ../boot/silo.conf .
# ls -l silo.*

I have to get some 2.4.23 kernel images out, but this set has a 2.4.21
kernel with the do_brk patch (and other security patches that may be
related to 2.4.21).
Also, this includes a new sparc-mini.iso with the fixed SILO so that
things boot again for sparc64.

I found some old pizzaboxes (mostly SparcStation 5) in our department. I'd
like to use them as public X-terminals. I installed woody on one of the
machines.
Now I'd like to move the instalation to a NFS server because disks in the
boxes are rather noisy. But I have no idea how to setup bo
