Greetings! sid gcc is highly broken on sparc, and I'd like to file
several bugs. It would be nice if there were some human being
interested in working on this with whom I could correspond briefly.
Any takers?

Thank you! Please let me know when an upload of 2.9.2 can proceed as
far as arm goes without spoiling the work done so far for 2.9.1 on
testing.

persisted since shortly after the last upload on 2/22/05. I would
like 2.9.1-1 to propagate into testing before uploading 2.9.2-1, which
is now ready, due to the long build time on slower machines. Please
advise ASAP -- I'll hold the upload of 2.9.2 for a couple of days.

Greetings! The latest sparc autobuild of maxima failed for an
apparently systemic reason involving the libc udeb. Could someone
please kick it off again, presuming the problem has been fixed?
Thanks!

other two, I'm suspecting something with the
fakeroot or equivalent. Especially on ia64, I've verified that I can
build only as a normal user, not using fakeroot. The tests fail with
symptoms of memory corruption or illegal instructions.
Any advice most appreciated!

Greetings! Well, I found the issue. Pleased to announce that we now
have gcl and gcl/maxima on sparc with no errors. Debian packages
hopefully to follow soon.
