Frank, from my experience in building kernels (mainly on x86 systems), you will need to tinker with the watchdog settings in the kernel config. something is obviously triggering the watchdog and causing issues for you. just a thought :) William

Another way of getting the floppy out would be to get a paper clip and straighten it out. There will be a little hole on the front that should allow you to initiate an eject. works on the same principle as a cdrom drive. Only diff is I think you need to have the power on for the drive to eject..

Taras, I had similar troubles with my sparc5-110. I found that the first CD would not boot properly. I ended up resorting to boot floppies, then changing media to the CD for the rest of the installation. Just a thought :) William
