HELP.HELP.HELP I run disk manager(ver 7.3) in order to make my 386 see the 1.6Gb drive. Under the kernel that comes with my distribution (2.0.27) It doesnt have a problem with this. I cannot persuade 2.1.28 to see the disk manager. It will boot to the point that it starts the partiton

Dialing into a Windows NT PPP server?

Leandro is dialing into an NT PPP server from his Linux client. I think you need to make CHAP work on both sides (see the pppd man page) so that the NT server can authenticate yours, but I'm not sure because I have not tried this. Is there anyone lurking on debian-user who has already done this?

Hi I've just installed the libc6 packages and find that this seems to break gcc which sort of makes it useless. The error generates is that crtBegin.o is missing. This file is present with libc5 but not with libc6. Any suggestions on how to set this up. Joe. =
