Hola. Siempre me pasa lo mismo pero es que no me acuerdo como puedo escribir el carácter FF (o CTRL L) al principio de un fichero cualquiera para que lo lea LILO (con la línea message = ... en 'lilo.conf') y que limpie la pantalla. A ver si esta vez lo apunto en alguna parte.

I also had some bizarre behaviour last night after an update on a potato machine. Unlike your situation, everything boots fine and I can log in on X, but I only get a console. After poking around for a little while I figure that the problem is probably a switch to use the x-window-manager
