My reasoning would be that doing the apt-get commands would bring you to
2.2r3 by virtue of potato being stable and 2.2r3 being potato.

Assuming your mouse is a PS/2 Intellimouse (round plug), like mine, you might
try pointing it to /dev/psaux.

something, nothing comes out of the printer, it just sits there. I know the

think ipchain is a newer with more features and mainly for 2.2 kernel. (I

Actually, you can use ipmasq and ipchain in 2.4 kernel if you
compile the corresponding module. On the other hand you can use iptable for
2.4 kernel. (it is the recommended way since it is native to 2.4 kernel.

outs when the net is very busy or one of my source lines is unavailable. I
just re-issue the same command and it's always worked fine for me *without*

When I do apt-get -f dselect-upgrade It check everything and checks and
checks, and then aska me if I am ready. SO I put in

It then comes up and says BROKEN link and says trey --fix--missing

I changed the permissions, added user to group audio, et al.
Now, when I use 'play ' command, the file is played perfectly.
But 'mpg123 ' says no sample rate found, and gmix says no mixer
found. When i do 'cat > /dev/dsp or /dev/audio', the speakers give

I used to use xdm, and the default color depth was 24 bpp. I switched to
gdm (for the cool shutdown option) and it's gone back to 8 bpp. What file
got changed?
