Hi all (again),
I've discovered that I can use the option --rsh-command
and specify /usr/bin/ssh and then, if you generate a key

Hi,
Yesterday I did an apt-get -u dselect-upgrade using woody in
sources.list.
Now I'm having some hard lock, where my keyboard and mouse stop
answering; fortunately I was able to ssh into my machine and kill
several processes.
This happened twice when I was visiting BXBoa
Can anyone perhaps instruct me in how to build a kernel with APM enabled? I

I know that my computer can power itself off in windows, but not in linux...

You should be able to run "xvidtune" in order to get the right modeline.
Set your screen as you like then click on "show." This will kick out a
modeline.
Find the modline in your /etc/X11/XF86Config file, in the appropriate
section, that starts with the same desktop size as xvidtune reports.
