After upgrading my distro (unstable), my digital camera stop working.
The device /dev/sda1 is never created. The gnome-system monitor show
that a process makes 100% I/O latency.

for 6-8 Disk SATA-Servers (19"/2-3U) and they are not realy expensive.
My biggest Storage Server will have one Raid-1 with Hotfix (three WD360)

Out of curiosity I tried to kill the pid that locked my modem.
The pid is not displaying with top and it's the connection pid,
therefore my connection locked my modem.
I think that the connection of 56 k is so slow that dead, but is it
realy possible or it's another?

It gets correctly installed, but when you try to start Debian, grub
correctly working, it starts checking hardware and starts kernel. Then,
suddenly I get a blank screen, and the computer doesn't work and I have to
reboot.

I checked my config file (config-2.4.27-2-k7) and:
CONFIG_CRAMFS=y
I call mondoarchive w/ the following options:
mondoarchive -O -i -E /mnt -I /home -d
/root/images/mondo/ -T /tmp
Then I receive this error:

Joerg Schily's original cdrecord works perfectly.
Apparently I have a box of bad blank cdrw disks, 100 of them unfortunately.
I tried cdrw disks from another box and cdrecord ran the Lite-On drive at
25x with no problems.

have an my unusual problem: my mouse becomes square on my primary
monitor. It's fine on the secondary monitor. Any ideas?

OpenGL won't start - "dual-TMU support error" *Note:* This is likely a
version-specific bug for the nVidia drivers.
If you have a very recent nVidia card or similar, you may get an error that
says "Please install a 3D accelerator card with dual-TMU support."
