GUI Looks Like Safe Mode

I upgraded my distro to Lenny a few weeks ago, and after the upgrade it all of my applications look horrible (not as clean as they used to). Its not a huge issue, but its really odd. I use OpenBox WM with Kicker. The open box stuff looks fine, and kicker looks fine, all the rendered stuff in icew

Hi All, I have debian stable (etch). Sometimes I want to install the newest versions of some packages from testing/unstable. Typically I can only install some package with the newer version of the shared libraries it depends on. For example dash (0.5.3-7) from etch depends on libc6

Good. I think it's best to place the modified package on hold with #aptitude hold gnome-volume-manager so it doesn't get automatically updated, at least until the bug is fixed. For anyone trying to recompile the package, note that you also need to add the lenny source repository to /etc/apt/so

I have had this issue for a long time, never resolved it. If I type: shutdown now the machine turns off if I type shutdown -r now it starts to shut down, and then it sits with these last messages on the screen: [4426.174309] ACPI:PCI interrupt for device :00:19.0 disabled [4426.189849] Restar
