no powermanagement after dist-upgrade

Hello, Today I upgraded my desktop system from Squeeze to Wheezy. Before the upgrade powermanagement worked fine: I could select poweroff/reboot/sleep/hybernate from kdm and xfce. After the upgrade these options are gone. Any idea how to get this back? When I run pm-suspend from the commandline

Can somebody point me at some docs or packages I could use to create a customized CD/DVD/BD image for installing Debian PowerPC? I'd like to create a 32GB (or larger?) USB memory stick that can be used to do a complete installation of PowerPC Debian (Wheezy right now, but into the future.

Something else I just noticed now that I'm on a screen high enough to show all of /proc/interrupts on one line:Non-maskable interrupts are happening on Wheezy whereas they didn't on Squeeze. Additionally, it seems Non-maskable interrupts and Performance monitoring are the same value all the time. -
