Uh, is this name-calling really needed? I could call a GUI mail client
bloated and not configurable, you can't even use it from a console
(which I am doing at the moment), but what's the point? Live and let

You can use dpkg-reconfigure with any package, but for most it won't ask

The above backs up my /home and / partitions to a USB disk and rotates
the last seven backups. Another big advantage is the reduced space
consumption as only _changed_ files get backed up, unchanged files are
just hardlinks. Would something like this be useful to you?

I found it quite capable, it is written in Fortran77, ~400 subroutines.
Also, you will need to do your own pre/post-processing, though you can

Install the 2006 archive signing key. This has been explained plenty of
times on the list, search the archive if you need a longer explanation.

Or use k3b and libk3b2 0.12.10-1 from http://snapshot.debian.net, the
last versions from unstable build for KDE 3.4.

Hi,
also try
echo $HISTFILESIZE
echo $HISTSIZE
to see to what number the history is set. You can read more in
'
to see the processes acting up.
And finally there is 'atop', which records the running processes. CPU
usage etc for later perusal. So you can just let it run and examine what
happened later.

There have been some C++ Transitions in the past, also a lot of
additional software for KDE is not in Testing. Some have or had RC
bugs, and they can't migrate now from unstable because the unstable
packages have already been built for KDE 3.5. KDE itsel

Hi Tyson,
since it doesn't seem like anybody else has mentioned it,
you
et a working gcc tool-chain. The configure
option I used was
./configure --target=i960-rtems --enable-obsolete
As there is a quite a bit more to cross compiling than gcc I'd also
recommend some documentation about cross-compiling.

Make sure that alsa-oss is installed. Check if your card can allow
several applications (sound server, browser) to access the card at the
same time. If it doesn't, you need to activate the dmix plugin for
software mixing.
