As all M$ Windows 95/98/NT/2000 uses a protocal called SMB (Sesssions Message Block), you will have to install SaMBa (http://www.samba.org). The debs are kept in net and otherosfs. To configure SaMBa, I strongly suggest you also download/ apt-get SWAT (Samba Web Administration Tool). Once

Firstly, if you are using Debian, all you need to edit are the following files:- /etc/networking/interfaces you should include the proper lines so that the system can locate your eth0 eth0 inet static (I think I am missing another part here)
