It's a small office LAN. My computer that can't ping it has an IP of
10.0.1.5.
It does reply to pings from ANY OTHER computer, except 10.0.1.5.

That worked.
Any ideas about how to tell Apache that the default file for a Host is a
particular file (i.e., for www.npc-usa.com the default (home) file is
NPC_Home.htm).

Strangest thing.
Our network is 10.0.1.0/255.255.255.0
I can access any address in our network except 10.0.1.1, which is our
mail server. It won't ping it or anything. Any ideas?

network environment
Im in, it will configure my laptop accordingly. But as far as I can regardless
of environment, it always boots the same. Any hints?

I created the Sent and Trash folders on the server as you said to in one of
your earlier letters. I now have a Trash and Sent folders as subfolders in
my email client.
Looking on the server my directory structure for mail is:
/var/spool/cyrus/mail/curtis/
1
So, I now have postfix up and running. Unfortunately, users can only
relay mail to those domains that I indicate in main.cf under
virtual_domains. Attached it my main.cf file. What do I need to do in
order to allow authenticated users to relay to whomever they wish.

As for LTSP. My question is this.
