I'm running debian testing ("bookworm" at the moment) and have firefox
88 installed from unstable. My sources.list contains testing and
unstable main, contrib and non-free lines and I have pinning set up to
900 testing, 500 unstable. Default-Release is set to "testing".

I have tried running apt-get clean and autoremove; no change.

I didn't see it yesterday, but it seems that is is always the write bit
that does not get set properly. The umask values that work are only
those that do /not/ allow writing to all files.
Is it possible that the files have been marked read-only in Windows
and that mount respects that setting?

no se xp, pero con win2000 pones el cd de isntalacion y una de las opciones
en entran con linea de comando, ahi pedi un help por las dudas, pero creo
que es fixmbr o fixboot y te formatea el mbr y te queda como antes de

hacerlo, pero no emulas un cd, copias todo al hd y cambias algunas
configuraciones para que encuentre todo en la ubicacion actual

buenas, tengo un problema con knoppix, arranca perfecto, salvo 1 problemita
el segundo , no puedo montar ninguna particion del hd, al arranqu eme pone
dos accesos directos en el escritorio
hdc1 y hdc2, pero me dice que no lo puede abrir, y si intento montarlas
manualmente tampoco anda ninguna de
tengo woody, la configuracion de idioma y el teclado andaban bien, tube que
recompilar el kernel para poder intalar un driver y despues empezo a dar
problemas:
primero perdi la confiduracion del idioma (estaba en es_AR), y cuando la
reestableci en pantalla me quedo bien, pero del teclado perdi un
tenia problemas con la configuracion de mi teclado en las X, tocando un poco
aca y un poca alla lo termine de matar, cuando arranaca debian inicia
directamente las X en vt7 y el teclado se desactiva completamente, no puedo
entrar a ninguna otra consola,. ni resetear...ni nadala idea es entrar
seguro que hay una forma mejor y menos drastica, pero cuando me paso lo
mismo, borre la carpeta ./kde de mi home y listo, kde empezo con todos los
defaults y quedo bien

dudas...
tengo unas cuantas dudas en cuanto a como funciona el tema de las
actualizaciones, por ejemplo, yo tengo woody, pongo como source un ftp de
sarge, puedo instalar cuarquier paquete de sarge? supongo que habra aapps
que requieran el kernel mas nuevo de sarge, pero en principio
buenas, esto ya lo habia preguntado pero como iva
mesclado con otro tema se ve que paso de largo,
instale woody con el kernel2.4.18bf y las fuentes,
que estaban en el mismo cd ( es la iso oficial), y al instalar un driver tube un
problema, lo pude compilar, pero al hacer make install me dice
error, trate d hacer a mano lo que decia el readme en caso
de que el script no funcione y me dice que los .o estan compilados para el
kernel 2.4.18 y que yo estoy usando 2.4.18bf.
y ahora? no son las mismas fuentes? estaban en el mismo cd, el kernel y su
fuente ...

Yo descomprimí el tar.gz y ahí estaban el ham.o y hamcore.o, no sé en tu

Ahora bien, sé que para instalar los kernel headers y usarlos para
compilar, hay que instalarlos, luego descomprimirlos, porque
te contesta un novatillo de debian que todavia no termino de configurar su
modem =) y todavia no uso las actualixaciones online de apt, pero si no
entendi mal pone a bajar solo el paquete principal de gnome y
automaticamente chequea las dependencias y te baja todo lo que necesites,
eso si, espero
