an AdLib card with Crystal chipset. Try that, if you
really want to get it to work, and have time. I just (got my hands on an
old SB16, one of the first cards out there) replaced the card, which
worked without a glitch after reboot and new kernel compile.

I just added sound support and compiled my kernel as my Debian
Users Manual said. Just one problem, I can't find my kernel image
which is supposed to be located in
/usr/src/linux/arch/i386/boot/zImage
Any ideas?

When I installed Debian I put it on my second hard drive and didn't
make it bootable but instead just made a boot floppy as I wasn't
familiar with Lilo or Loadlin but now I want to make the hard drive
bootable. How do I do this at this point? Do I need to re-install or
what?
