No, floppies for Linux should be formatted with a Linux filesystem.

Where is ImageMagick on Debian? I installed now the source but cannot
compile it. Have someone tried to compile version 4.2.1?

You are on the right way. ghostscript is used by a print filter
(apsfilter, magicfilter or lprng) to translate PostScript for your
non-PostScript printer.
If you will print HTML, you can use Jan Karrman's html2ps. It's possible,
that Netscape itself use this nifty utility.

Sorry, I don't get your original posting into pine. But which version of
PHP are you using. The pg_fetch_*() family was introduced on Fri Jun 1998
in Version php3 RC5. I think you must have a older Version. Today you can
get 3.0.5

Oh sorry, I have never tried to build a kernel the Debian way. So I have
to symlink the header files according the README. Could it be that there
is something wrong?

In my machine is also a Intel EtherExpress. With RH 4.2 (2.0.30) it works
with eepro.o. With Debian 2.0 (2.1.125) it works NOT!

Thats wrong. The four letter contains only one option with an additional
paramter (the filename). I bet Albert had only forgotten to switch in
binary mode before download.

Why do you don't use the deb packages and let install dselect this for
you?
A shortcut to gzip and tar would be
tar xvpfz *.tgz

Use df (disk free).
For compression you can look for tar and zip.
I don't think that there is disk compression utility. But I could be
wrong.

The problem is definitly bash 2.0. Try a real shell. This was an answer
from a netscape person (name forgotten but can be found in the emacs
manual)
