Does connection in TIME_WAIT count?

Hi, When a client closes, say HTTP, connection to my server then the connection continues to be listed on the server for some period of time in the state `TIME_WAIT'. Does such a connection still counts as valid one, ie does the web server see it? Thank you, Jozef

Duplicate Packets

There is one reason not to use packaged satan. .deb package contains binaries, those can include Troyan horses etc. Sure I trust debian developers, but when using satan or some different security auditing application I want to compile the binary for myself from pristine sources. Jozef Skvarcek
