Get sun java 1.5 or as they call it java 5 (j2se jdk). For dev you
can get netbeans 5.0 from netbeans, Netbeans ide has gui builder also
which eclipse do not have. You have to use plugins in eclipse for gui
building.

I have asus A7N8X deluxe Mother board with 3com and forcedeth ethernet
ports. nvidia forcedeth is eth0 and 3com is eth1. I have crossover
cable connected to eth1(3com). I have both debian and knoppix along
with winxp. When the pc is connected to laptop through eth1, it works
in winxp and knoppix.
1) In /etc/inittab run level is 2. In etc/rc2.d/ there is no

The link I provide let me set up Splashy with relative ease. I should
think, off hand, that you need to edit the config.xml file located in
the splashy directory. Read the readme that comes along with your theme.
