I'm trying to connect to my isp using my notebook. I have a zoom pcmcia modem that wvdial recognizes and sets up just fine. When I type wvdial and hit enter it dials...logs in...starts ppp daemon, but after 2-3 seconds it says PPP daemon has died! (exit code = 1) Disconnecting at .. So basi

has anyone had any experience with the zoom pcmcia modem. The one that costs 99.99 at Best Buy(I'm not sure the model, but I figured a price point would give you an idea.) I'm just wondering if linux will recognize it. My notebook came with an internal modem, but...It is a winmodem..:( please
