Update:
I have found that this is really two problems.
First, seems to be that when one modem is
unplugged and a second modem is plugged in that
the network-manager doesn't complete return to an
initialized state and the second modem setup and
operation fails. If one boots the PC and begins
I am somewhat of a new user of Debian.
I have 7.5.0 running using a ZTE 3772-Z USB modem
and this worked by just turning broadband on and
selecting the 3G provider.
I also have two 3G modems that do not work (but
work under fedora):
T-mobile ZTE MF626 USB modem
Orange Alcatel X220D USB
Migrating from fedora to debian.
I need to have apt use the latest version of cups
(1.7.3) that I can see in the pool directory on
the web. I don't really understand the apt logic
at this point so I don't know what to do so I am
asking.
