I recently bought a small UPS by Eaton in order to prevent my
btrfs-fileserver (running Debian 12 Bookworm, which is also the source
of my nut-installation) from shutting down abruptly while writing
something important during a power loss. I have found very good
documentation on how to set

Debian 11 had Pulseaudio as default, which had a
/etc/pulse/daemon.conf where you could set the bit- and sample
rate.There was even a very comprehensive manual page for it.
(pulse-daemon.conf(5))
In my case I used 24bit and 192kHz in order to get the best possible
audio output of my Fiio
Sorry, forgot to mention that: It did move with the USB-C-Cable. It's
a standard Amazon Basic 0,9m USB-C-to-DP-Cable, bought quite recently.

I have just done some tests and it's only the USB-C-to-DP NUC that is
problematic. The HDMI one goes into suspend and wakes up
