Blurry fonts in OpenOffice and qt4 appliations

Hi all, The fonts in OpenOffice and qt4(skype 1.4 beta) applications are blurry. Has anyone encountered the same problem? There is a thread on the Ubuntu mailing list, but it does not offer any solution. Any help is appreciated I am using Debian Etch with Gnome Regards -- Vasil Benov, Mobile

mozilla-vlc plugin keeps crashing iceweasel

of the browser running everything is fine. But as long as any of the above cases are met. The browser always crashes if i try to open a vlc stream for the second time.
