Here is what I get when I do:
localhostnl:/home/wstan# insmod opl3sa2
Using /lib/modules/2.2.18pre21/misc/opl3sa2.o
/lib/modules/2.2.18pre21/misc/opl3sa2.o: unresolved symbol

/lib/modules/2.2.18pre21/misc/opl3sa2.o: unresolved symbol

/lib/modules/2.
I'm trying to get my sound working with OPL3-SA3.
When I try to install the module,
I get the following error. What needs to be done
to make it work?
localhostnl:/home/wstan# insmod opl3sa2
Using /lib/modules/2.2.18pre21/misc/opl3sa2.o
/lib/modules/2.2.18pre21/misc/opl3sa2.o: unresolved symbol

I have looked over the Linux HOWTO and searched the archives
but nothing seems to help. I am thinking that maybe isapnp is not
running at boot since I see no reference to it in dmesg. How
do I find out if it is? Where do I set it up to run if it isn't
running?
Below is my setup... any obvious blun
Yes, here is part of the lsmod result.
localhostnl:/home/wstan# lsmod

Here and there I have come across references to DPS as
being a way to send web pages via the internet. I think
Sun's NeWS could have helped with that idea. As I understand
it would be faster and use less bandwidth.
I only have a basic understanding of all this. Could someone

I am able to mount hda1 (Fat16) just fine but can't do it
with hda3 for some strange reason.
I did try your suggestion though and got this:
localhostnl:/home/wstan# mount -t vfat /dev/hda3 /mnt
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hda3,
or too many mounted file systems
There is nothing else mounted as far as I can tell.
localhostnl:/home/wstan# mount
/dev/hda6 on / type ext2 (rw,errors=remount-ro,errors=remount-ro)
proc on /proc type proc (rw)
devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,gid=5,mode=620)

I have no problem mounting my initial FAT16 partition,
but am unable to mount the 2nd one. The 2nd one was added
recently following the installation of Windows95 and Debian
Linux (in that order).
I use this to mount:
mount -t msdos /dev/hda3 /mnt
This is what I get back:
mount: wrong fs
I recently installed Debian onto my PC which now
shares space with Windows95, FreeBSD, and Plan 9.
I tried to mount FreeBSD from Debian but can only
do it to root, nowhere else. I use the following:
mount -t ufs -o ufstype=44bsd /dev/hda7 /mnt
Below is information I gathered. I really d
