Joan and Sergio:
It looks like you're both suffering from the old device numbers its
interfaces starting with 1 instead of 0 problem. It's a reasonably
common error in device firmware. See also

I'm using kernel 2.6.1, and usb seems to work fine (I'm using an usb mouse and
syncing with my Canon camera), but...
