Good, then things sounds like theyre working right! You shouldn't be using telneyt. The telnet daemon on your debian box is turned off by default. Install ssh, make sure sshd is running, and ssh into the box instead - use putty as the XP ssh client. Lars. On Wed, 29 Oct 2003,
