I am using the standard irc daemon.
I found the documentation hard to understand.
Can anyone tell me how to change
ircd.conf
to allow multiple connections from localhost?
At the moment, it only seems to permit one connection.

Hi everybody. I need to set some channels with user-password pair

I've added a password to the appropriate line in the /etc/ircd/ircd.conf

It does not ask for a password when I log on to the irc server.

ircd. I made some cursory changes in /etc/ircd/ircd.*
