i recently upgraded to sid. when using enlightenment (0.16) and licq, i
am not able to set the position of the status window (dock icon -
LicqWharf). i cen set up it to remember its position in the
windowmanager, however after the restart, it is again placed in
different location

Hello all,
I know this is more of a KDE question, but hopefully someone here can
answer my query. I am running LICQ in KDE (both of them curring to
the unstable version). I use the dock icon, and I was hoping that it
would dock into the KDE panel, but instead it puts itself at the top
of the
sers to switch it off.
I spend most of my time using linux, so I use licq but I do have icq for
Windows as well (more of a legacy than anything else). I have the
2000b version. Anyway, where is this option? It doesn't seem to be under
"security" or "connections", other t

tarball or from the cvs, whenever I start a message, then change the message to
another kind, like for example, to a file transfer request instead, LICQ will

I believe the data is stored in '.licq' directory in your home directory.
You could just back up the files there and remove the package. After you
install the newer version, you could copy the data back to '.licq'
directory.

When using the dockapp from licq in Enlightenement, E creates a button
for it, and there is no way for me to customize it. I just want to get a
sticky/transparent flower on my desktop... Alt-click brings up the licq
menu, not the E menu unfortunately...

I'm pretty sure I've heard of people here having similar experiences.
Does anyone know if it has been fixed yet? The Debian unstable
tree has 0.75.2 while 0.75.3 is out.

I packaged an licq 0.71 deb, I tried to include the qt stuff and licq-data
files in the postinst, get em here untill the maintainer gets one up on
potato, let me know if you have problems.

this came up for me and took a while to figure out.. someone else on this list
or perhaps a newgroup suggesting export QTDIR to the place where qt2 is
installed.
i.e. "export QTDIR=/usr/lib/qt2"
this should work as you sound like your in the same predicament as i was.

isn't that related to licq. I get an error when trying to add the qt
